Embrace your inner sloth with this lazy cardigan, with large bucket pockets to place your loitering hands in. The garment is dyed with annatto, famously used in the UK for Red Leicester cheese.

The Bucket Pocket Rib Shoulder Cardigan is knit from cotton calico weaving yarn, in a traditional fisherman’s rib stitch, which will stretch out as it is worn. The front panels are knitted longer than the back, and are folded up before being linked to the front placket, forming bucket pockets.

The panels are finished with a tighter rib at the shoulders and arm holes, creating flat seams which highlights the construction of the garment.

This garment initially fits short, but will stretch down with wear.

Tender has its roots in antique workwear and machinery, especially from the Great British Steam Age. On a steam train, the tender was the truck which carried the coal and water to power the locomotive, and was coupled in between the engine and the carriages. They were built incredibly solidly, mostly from riveted cast iron, and had to hold enough fuel to take a train weighing many tons all over Britain.

Polymath William Kroll is from the UK where he hones his various crafts and designs his British-made clothes and accessories. They are manufactured in small factories, ateliers, and homes around the country, exploring new approaches to traditional weaving, making, tanning, and dyeing.

His pieces are truly unique, possessing a rough, everlasting charm that only increases with age and use.
