Introducing Gråbrodern, a Swedish clothing brand rooted firmly on the limestone rock they come from - the island of Gotland in the Baltic sea. The name refers to a neighbourhood in the Medieval town of Visby and the results are inspired from Gotlandic vintage workwear from a century ago. Hemed by Johan Söderland, the brand symbolises the unity of contrasts - light and shadow, black and white, day and night, old and new.

Taken directly from the research archives when creating the brand, this unique collar shape and button detailing is all lifted from original Gotland workwear pieces, made resplendent in Japanese denim from Okayama, notice the selvedge line seam running the length of the rear of the jacket. 11.5oz Sanforized deep indigo denim with fine slubs and steel logo sew-on buttons.
