Simple elasticated short made in an extremely robust indigo canvas, I reckon you could could climbing in these no problem. The design is pleasantly unfussy with two large patch pockets on the front and two more on the back that are bottom-lined. Tonal drawstrings are used up top and they come up pretty big so we suggest sizing down.
