A historic collaboration commemorating the 101st anniversary of the birth of Lee.

From the Ranch Worker 1940-1944 series focusing on ranch workers, special denim pants, (101) based on the “wartime model” from around 1942-45 and blending European work & military wear make their debut.

This piece was born from exhaustive research into the historical background of the era, including Britain’s「CC41」and U.S. material controls. Its defining feature is the original fabric (Blurry Denim), which recreates the denim of the time, made by mixing several types of raw materials and yarns of different thicknesses due to material shortages. Indigo layers sulphur dyeing over rope dyeing,  By weaving them on improved vintage power looms, “uneven”, rough-textured right-hand twill(LOT-2601)and left-hand twill(LOT-2602denim were created. By tailoring the pants from a combination of these fabrics, you can enjoy distinctive aging, with each part developing a different character the more they are worn.

The details, too, are packed with the romance of an era under material controls. The front features laurel buttons and plain rivets, along with L-shaped pockets, whose curves were made gentler to simplify the sewing process. Meanwhile, unique vintage playfulness is added at both ends of the back pockets (pistol pockets), where the selvedge is left visible to recreate the seam allowance folding mistakes of the time. Familiar details such as Lazy S stitching , thread rivets, a centred red tag, and a union ticket are just some of the countless meticulous touches packed into this piece.

※It will shrink by approximately 1㎝~2cm during the first wash. This may vary depending on washing conditions.
