A 1950's model named WINTER KING. The simple design has no quilting stitches on the front side, making the fabric's luster stand out even more. The front is equipped with a brown tape "crown jumper". The pocket is designed to prevent the contents from falling out, and is equipped with a boa on the inside. The front and back hems are made differently, and the front has a woven name with a bear motif, typical of Alaska.

Alaska Sleeping Bag Company was founded in Portland, Oregon in the early 1930s. After starting out as a manufacturer of sleeping bags for cold regions using down, the company began manufacturing and selling outdoor wear and gear in general. The company's durable, high-quality down clothing gained a reputation for its ability to withstand extremely cold regions, and the company expanded its business, backed by the outdoor boom of the time. The company's mail-order sales business using catalogs further improved its performance, and by the 1960s it had grown to the point where it was competing with LLBean and Eddie Bauer for market share. After that, business continued steadily for a while, but in the 1970s, business gradually stalled due to the entry of many competitors, and the brand came to an end at the end of the 1970s, after the peak of the outdoor boom.
