This is a very unique and rare design among the Duke brand, consisting of oriental flowers such as chrysanthemums. The border-like pattern is the base, and the flowers are deformed and drawn on top of it, and the motifs that accent the pattern, such as clouds, are expressed with a unique touch. The oriental design is characteristic of the Duke brand, which was always conscious of the trends in mainland America and incorporated those trends into its pattern designs and colour usage.
