These pants from Kapital feature a back buckle system that wraps around the waist connecting to three buckle points and into the pockets. The pants also features a four button fly and each pocket is held down by rivets. The fabric is lightweight but the plain weave construction feels quite sturdy.

Kapital was founded in 1985 by Toshikiyo Hirata. Kapital is known for their creative take on americana style while specialising in many traditional and artisanal Japanese manufacturing techniques.
