The panels for Lobster Tail Jackets are all individually lined andbias-bound, before assembling with flat lapped seams. Because bias binding can not be used to edge sharp corners, all the panels are rounded.As rounded tails can not be sewn together into a flat edge, the four tails of the jacket have a distinctive scalopped shape, like a
lobster’s tail.

This dye was the first of the Hadal series and is so-called Hadal Blue after the Hadal Zone, named for the greek Underworld, Hades as the deepest oceanic zone.
