The Wide Face Shirt is cut with extra deep wide facings, sewn down halfway across the front panels. The large pockets are turned into the hem, the sides have short bartacked splits, and the sleeves are pleated into false cuffs. With Custom pewter buttons hand-cast in England.

Endless Stripe Calico is a variation on the calico used for shirts, and for jeans back pocket linings, since Tender’s first production. For this version, however, ends of warp yarn are pulled out during weaving, causing a small gap in the fabric that forms a vertical stripe. When the garments are washed or dyed the gap draws in, creating a slight ridge and an unusual variation in texture and colour.

Mars black is an artists’ pigment derived from iron oxide in magnetite, or lodestone. Unlike plant and animal-derived black pigments, Mars black is particularly stable and gives a deep, clean colour when mixed into paint.
