The book includes a long interview from his childhood to the present, close coverage of his life in Newcastle and his travels to London, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing, and Japan. It also features early items from his own brand that are now rare, a "Limited Edition" collection that contains the history and stories of his heroes such as Margaret Howell and Paul Smith, and about 250 carefully selected items from his vast collection of about 4,000 vintage wear items that he has collected over 40 years.
